Sprouts' team of educators are certified in: Child/Infant/Adult CPR and First Aid, HIV/AIDS and Bloodborne Pathogens Training, Safe Sleep Training, Food Handler’s Permit, and Child Care Basics Training as well as yearly ongoing STARS and/or EQUEL training.
They have also passed Federal Background Checks and are well-trained and experienced in working with children.
Many of our educators are pursuing degrees in Early Childhood Education.
Sprouts Preschool and Childcare is licensed by the State of Washington and is regularly inspected by the Edmonds Fire Department to ensure the highest standards of safety.
Your child will be provided all meals, snacks, and beverages.
The food and beverages provided are on a planned three week seasonal rotation. These meals follow strict guidelines for balance and nutrition, we also strive to make as much in house as possible using the best organic ingredients.
Please note that Sprouts is a nut-free facility, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for children with allergies.
We specialize in accommodating food allergies and adhere to the USDA food program guidelines for child nutrition.

2 - 11 month olds

Our infant classroom is designed to provide the highest level of care, comfort, and developmental support for your little one.
Organic formula, as well as all linens, diapers, and wipes, are supplied to make your child’s day smooth and worry-free.
Families are asked to provide breast milk, bottles, and any specific creams and spare clothes to ensure each baby’s individual needs are met.
Breast feeding mothers are invited to coordinate nursing your child on site. A comfortable space will be provided for you.
At Sprouts, we follow an age appropriate infant curriculum filled with engaging activities that nurture early milestones—supporting language, motor skills, and sensory exploration in meaningful ways.
Our team keeps a clean and healthy environment with strict sanitization practices throughout the day, so babies can safely explore and thrive.
Infants enjoy daily outdoor time in their dedicated play area, with fresh-air walks when weather permits.
This balance of comfort, play, and connection helps each child feel secure while fostering their early growth and development.
1 - 2 Year Olds
Capacity: 13 toddlers, 3 teachers
Our toddler classrooms provide a warm, nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow. Each day, toddlers enjoy exploring books, engaging in hands-on curriculum activities, and spending plenty of time outdoors in their dedicated play area.
We offer specialized classrooms for 1-year-olds and 2-year-olds, allowing us to meet children right where they are developmentally and support their unique milestones. In addition to core learning experiences, toddlers participate in enriching activities such as music, dance, and yoga, which foster both creativity and physical development.
Sprouts provides all meals, snacks, utensils, diapers, wipes, linens, and organic formula if used. Families are asked to bring breast milk, bottles, creams (if applicable), and spare clothes to keep on hand.
Our daily routine offers a balance of structured times for meals, play, and rest, while also remaining flexible to follow each child’s individual needs and cues. This thoughtful rhythm helps toddlers feel secure, supported, and ready to explore the world around them.
3 - 6 Year Olds
Capacity: 20 preschoolers, 4 teachers
Our preschool classrooms are designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence as children prepare for kindergarten and beyond. Through a balance of play-based learning and focused kindergarten readiness activities, children build the academic and social skills they’ll carry into their next stage of education.
Our thoughtful curriculum weaves in meaningful learning experiences, including Bible lessons that nurture character development and values. Preschoolers also enjoy enriching opportunities in music, yoga, and dance, encouraging self-expression and supporting physical well-being.
The classrooms flow into beautifully designed outdoor play spaces, where children spend time each day exploring, moving, and learning in nature. Inside, we create calming areas that give preschoolers space to recharge while fostering emotional growth and self-regulation.
At Sprouts, preschool is a time of joyful learning, spiritual growth, and preparing hearts and minds for the journey ahead.
5-6 year olds (Kindergarten) 6-10 (School age)

Sprouts Kindergarten program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Our before- and after-Kindergarten care is available from 7:00–9:00 a.m. and 3:00–5:00 p.m.
Sprouts School age care is available 7:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. during summer and school holidays
In these programs, children enjoy age-appropriate activities that balance learning and play. They have access to a large outdoor space where they can run, explore, and connect with friends.
Our curriculum emphasizes both fun engagement and ongoing school support and readiness, helping children stay excited about learning in a more comfortable home-like environment.
After the school day, Sprouts provides a safe, welcoming place for children to land and decompress. With plenty of individual attention and care, they can recharge through outdoor play, quiet activities, or social time with peers.
To fuel their growth, we provide healthy, organic meals and snacks that nourish both body and mind—helping children feel their best throughout the day.

To secure a spot at Sprouts Preschool and Childcare that has been offered to your family, a non-refundable deposit is required, which includes the $120 enrollment fee plus the first week of tuition.
Drop-in childcare must be booked within 2 weeks of the requested date, and swapped days for Part-Time Childcare must also be arranged within 2 weeks of the originally scheduled date.
Sprouts pricing is comprehensive and covers meals, snacks, beverages, linens, diapers, wipes, utensils, supplies, curriculum, and activities. The enrollment fee is $120 per family, due at the time of enrollment and will be required every September thereafter for re-enrollment.
Additionally, we offer a sibling discount of 10% off weekly tuition for the oldest sibling scheduled during the same times as their sibling for weekly care.
Weekly Payments
Weekly tuition payments are due each Monday via Autopay.
A $20 late fee will be applied to the next invoice for any late payments. Any NSF fees will also be charged to your account.
Late Pickups
If a parent will be late to pick up a child or needs to drop off a child earlier than the scheduled time, please call or text 206.226.2595 ASAP before the scheduled time to ensure that your child can be accommodated.
